The Reason I Didn’t Wake Up in an Alley

It’s Friday!

From my observations, there seems to be a direct relationship between SEOs and consumption of large amounts of alcohol…

My entry about my post-SearchBash escapade has received the most traffic out of all of my posts, so far…

On that note, I have spoken, chatted, and emailed with quite a few of the people I met at the conference last week…

Taking bits and pieces from those conversations, I was able to peice together a lot of what happened and what I did on the night of SearchBash…

On that note, I need to throw out a huge “THANKS” and “BIG UPS” to Scott Orth of Selytics, and his colleagues, who made sure I made it back to my hotel room okay…

I barely even remember meeting him at SearchBash and apparently him, his colleagues, a few partiers we picked up along the way, and I hit up a few other bars afterwards…

…But, thanks to Scott and his team, I woke up in a pile of business cards on my hotel room floor, instead of behind a stanky dumpster in some alleyway…

What more can I say about the SEO community? I (from what I’ve heard) had a great time with people that I’ve never met before and they kind-heartedly watched out for my well being…
