Kid Disco Update

So… I was on vacation for awhile, then came back last week to hit a deadline for a major project at work… So, I’ve been a little out of the loop…

Anyway, my girlfriend and I were back home in the Chicagoland for about two weeks for our annual get-together with our best friends. Since many of us are now spread throughout the country, we dedicate a weekend around the 4th of July every year and rent out a huge cabin at the Wisconsin Dells Wilderness Resort. That weekend always goes by way too fast…

When I wasn’t at the Dells, I crashed at my best friends’ pad in Wrigleyville. I can’t begin to say how fun that neighborhood in Chicago is. It is the area right around Wrigley Field and there are tons of bars and restaurants. Needless to say, my time there was very well spent…

While I was on vacation, I checked in online to keep tabs on my work stuff and some updates… but I haven’t been keeping up with all of the blogs that I normally read regularly. I have a lot of catching up to do! I think I’m fairly up to speed, though, thanks to my Google Alerts and email newsletters.

I did miss blogging, though, and ended up creating a personal blog over the weekend – cKdisco.com.

Yes, my name is CK. Actually, those are my first two initials… but that’s what everybody calls me. I don’t think I revealed that anywhere here before.

On that note, I just added my name to my About page.

Piece!

Glad to hear that you were doing something fun and not just hung up at the office this whole time working. Did you happen to catch a Cubs game on your trip?

    Welcome Back!!
