Hmm…I could sit here for hours and type in a whole list of the heaviest, sickest, metal that is on constant rotation in my playlist, but I know your tolerance for my style after living with you for so many years.

So, if I may make just ONE recommendation, it is “Halo” by Machine Head. Easily the greatest metal song released in the past ten years, and greatest ballad since “One”. Warning: you’ll be trying to master that riff on your guitar before long!
