I don’t use advanced search but I think it can give a lot better results for your searches than the regular search. You can find something more specifically.

Now that I’ve been using it for awhile, I wish they would just have everything there normally, instead of having to click on the plus box for more options…

I think the google advanced page is far more better than earlier one. Things have improved a lot in past 2 years in google. Thanks! to google.

Thought my Google Advanced home page had been highjacked until I saw this.
I must scroll down to just click “search”.
It was simple and neat – what’s wrong with that?
Please return the old “Ancanced” as an option.
Why not, Google has many other optional “Home Pages”.

I really like the look and feel of the new advanced search page. I haven’t used this option that often but I think it is more functional than it was before.

Google Advanced has been my homepage for ages – now some whiz-kid has decided that we don’t want to search for multiple phrases. So the new version is worse than the old one and much less versatile. Will they take any notice? Over to you, folks at Google – or, we’re off elsewhere.

Google’s new Advanced Search page is horrible. *Definitely* a step backward. You can no longer search using multiple exact string phrases. The page is unnecessarily cluttered. Most irritating by far, though, there are problems refreshing the page. For example, if I perform a search, go back (using the browser’s Back feature), and try searching again using new criteria, I only get results for the OLD criteria. I actually have to manually refresh the search page to make it perform another search with new criteria.
