I was just clicking around on Digg and a banner ad by Ask.com caught my eye. I always like to see what the search engines are doing to market themselves, so I took a closer look and was pleasantly surprised to see that the quote in the ad is by SearchEngineLand:

Being an independent consultant definitely has it’s perks. The most appealing may be having the freedom to set your own schedule. However, one could be treading dangerous waters if thy lack the oh-so-important time management gene.

I’ll have to admit that I was all over the place when I first started out. Some days I’d find myself working for 16 hours straight without eating. As starved as I was, I couldn’t pry myself away from my laptop. I’d settle into these grooves where I’ll get this anxiety if I’m away from the computer. More, more, more! I need to do more!

This is actually a post that I found while rummaging through my MySpace account. I first started blogging on MySpace and that only lasted a few weeks until I figured out how to get this site up. Since my MySpace blog isn’t public and not many peeps saw the post, I thought I’d put it up here.
